My First Blog: What Will This Website Be About?

Image
Wsg goats and welcome to my blog. This will be a way for me to express literally anything I want or need  to express. This can take the form of rants, reviews, pretty much just how my day went, any creative thingy I engage in, etc. Basically just Substack but less trying to look like I'm a political know-it-all.  I'm tuff, trust me.

Deconstructing the Giga

Image
Quite a while ago, the "Gigachad" meme has resurfaced on the mainstream internet. This meme from a few years ago was a celebration of hypermasculinity used for "liking things [the poster] like[d] and disliking things [the poster] dislike[d]" according to the Soyjak Wiki (which I do NOT fully endorse). Although it is being used for this again, it is being done so in even absurder ways. I shall attempt to deconstruct this meme; its relatively recent companion, a housefly known as "Gigafly" that Gigachad often rides as his personal mount; and how they reflect modern society. Gender Norms Gigachad originated from Ernest Khalimov, a Russian bodybuilder. What started as a somewhat digitally altered photo of the man appreciating his physique took off, in part due to how much it embedded stereotypical masculinity: Ernest has very toned muscles, is presumably quite tall, and has a moderately sized beard, a common symbol of manhood. Due to the assumption that men mu...

Music Review: "Sleep paralysis EP" by lafl!!!¢he!

Image
My friend lafl!!!¢he! (pronounced "La-Flèche") is an underground rapper. They recently put out their debut musical project, an abstract hip hop extended play called Sleep paralysis EP . I will review this project, to give them some promotion. I am honoured to have observed lafl!!!¢he!'s journey of making this extended play while it was still a work-in-progress. Cover Art The cover art for Sleep paralysis EP depicts a stone cellar under Buda Castle. I think it matches well enough with the general rustic vibe of this extended play. I interpret the light down the hall here as representing guidance or knowledge to lead one out of a slump. When asking lafl!!!¢he! about the cover art's meaning, they affirmed my interpretation and said the cover art represents uncertainty, with the tunnel being a mysterious way out. They also said there was an alternative cover representing helplessness, with there being no way out and lafl!!!¢he! being unable to move due to the photo being...

How My Senior Prom Went

Image
On Friday, May 22, 2026, I had my high school senior promenade dance. It lasted from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM and took place at a high-end Italian cultural association centre. After my father dropped me off at the place from his car, I went up to the room my school was having their prom in, checked in with my ticket, and sat at my reserved table, which a couple of my friends were at. Every boy, including myself, was wearing suits and ties, and every girl was wearing dresses. A lot of my friends had dates for the night, but I did not have one for myself. Dinner started at about 7:00 PM. First, we were given a bread basket. I ate two loaves of bread, as I was quite hungry. Next, penne pasta was served. I took two medium-sized helpings of the pasta. After that, salad consisting of lettuce, vinegar, grape tomatoes, and cucumbers was served. I enjoyed the vinegary taste of the lettuce. Then, we were served steamed carrot slices, broccoli, and cauliflower, which I loved due to my fondness for suc...

My New Quest to Study Every Religion and Philosophy

Image
I am beginning a quest to research every religious and philosophical tradition in-depth. Recommend me anything to study. I have not figured out how I will go about studying philosophies, but this is the planned path for how I will go about studying religions: Sunni Islam, my own religion. Other sects of Islam. Judaism and Christianity. Buddhism, Hinduism, Taoism, Shinto, Sikhism, and Confucianism. Zoroastrianism, Jainism, and other religions.

What is Bisha'a?

Image
Not too long ago, a video of Bedouin Arab women being burned on their tongues with iron circulated online. Certain non-Muslims have claimed that this was part of some misogynistic test of honesty called "Bisha'a" (بشعة), and that it was fully endorsed in Islam. This article shall aim to shed light on Bisha'a and its relation to Islam. Response Firstly, there is no "lie detector test" in Islam (seriously, go try to look up if there is one. You will not find anything from reliable sources.). A person, whether male or female, is to be presumed as honest until proven otherwise, whether through confession that is not forced or other methods, similar to the Western justice system. Secondly, the only Islamic ways to tell if one has committed adultery are four reliable witnesses saying they have witnessed the defendant committing adultery or the defendant themselves confessing to adultery without being coerced into confession. In general, testing one's virginity...

My Thoughts on the Current Xbox Situation and Microsoft Gaming's Change of Leadership

Image
I am more of a PlayStation guy than an Xbox fan. However, recent changes have occurred within Microsoft Gaming and Xbox leadership, which my best friend Mink asked me to write my thoughts about. Xbox is a gaming brand owned by Microsoft's video gaming division, Microsoft Gaming. It mainly consists of a series of home consoles, as well as video games and online services, including the esteemed Xbox Game Pass, which is a subscription service that allows one to access more games on Xbox devices. With Xbox being introduced, I can cut to the chase. What Happened? As mentioned earlier, Microsoft Gaming's leadership has recently gone under major changes. The chief executive officer, Phil Spencer, has retired, and his deputy, Xbox President Sarah Bond, resigned, with not much explanation for why. Spencer was crucial for the company, having introduced the Xbox Game Pass, bought various video game developers and publishers for Microsoft, further developed Minecraft, launching the Xbox Ad...
