People Do Not Know How to Use the 1-10 Rating System

Image
This is a minor rant against something I really find annoying, which is misusing the 1-10 rating system. Three main issues I have with people using the system is: 1. People hand out 10s too easily when they should be reserved for the absolute best. 2. People are too scared to use low numbers and use 5 for things that are "bad." 3. People make 7 mean "average." So, I will tell you the basic approach to actually using a 1-10 rating system: 1 = terrible, 5 = average, and 10 = perfect. If you want consistency, then treat each number as a specific category: 1. Awful/unusable 2. Very bad 3. Bad 4. Below average 5. Average 6. Above average 7. Good 8. Very good 9. Excellent 10. Perfect, cannot be realistically improved But yeah, this was just something I wanted to write about. Cya goats

Music Review: "The Marshall Mathers LP" by Eminem

Image
To do the second music review of this blog, I asked my friend Gbay to give me an album, and he chose The Marshall Mathers LP ,   rapper Eminem's third studio album, released on May 23, 2000. Eminem is my all-time favourite musician, and The Marshall Mathers LP often gets called Eminem's best album. The point of this review will be to test if the claims of it being his best album are true and if it still holds up nowadays. Cover Art I will use the alternate cover art since it is the cover art used on Spotify, which I use to listen to music. Although possibly not as iconic as the main cover art, it is simpler and uses colours that rest easier on the eyes, instantly making me like it more. The point of The Marshall Mathers LP is its focus on Marshall "Eminem" Mathers as a person instead of simply a rapper. To enhance this idea, the cover art depicts Eminem in front of his childhood home. This can be interpreted in a few different ways, with my personal thoughts being i...

Music Review: "Vanisher, Horizon Scraper" by Quadeca

Image
I wanted to start off a new "music review" series for my blog, so I asked my friend lafl!!!¢he! for an album to review. They told me to review Quadeca's fourth studio album,  Vanisher, Horizon Scraper , released on July 25, 2025. I have not listened to Quadeca before this, so my review will be unbiased. Cover Art The cover for this album is fairly simple. I do not think the cover is very noteworthy, although I do like the drawing techniques used for it. Overall Rating: 7/10 Track Listing NO QUESTIONS ASKED The first track on the album, NO QUESTIONS ASKED , has a beat using the acoustic guitar alongside some (layered) vocal sounds. Ambience is not exactly my style, but I will admit, this is above average. Overall Rating: 6/10 WAGING WAR WAGING WAR features Olēka. Again, another ambient, mostly instrumental track. I have to say, the instrumental on here was better for me and fit better. The vocals used were interesting, too. This is where I start seeing unique talent in Qu...

How an Ideal Military Would Look Like Under My Control

Image
My friend Mink told me I should write about how a military would look like under my supervision and how it would defend my ideals. I guess I should start by outlining my values first. I'd say my ideal military would be guided by Islamic values, defending Islam and human rights, and never exceeding limits. Now, what do I mean by "human rights?" I do not mean the American attitude of "we must invade every country to bring them dEmOcRaCy," but rather, fighting against inhumane armed forces like those of the Romans and Persians before the blessed Muslim armies rightfully conquered them. Generally speaking, I believe war should be strictly defensive, as preemptive warfare is way too much of a rabbit hole for me to explore to figure out what is and is not moral. With my values being put out of the way, I will focus on the military itself. I believe in constantly updating the arsenal of arms in a military, constantly getting the best version of each weapon. I would say...

My First Blog: What Will This Website Be About?

Image
Wsg goats and welcome to my blog. This will be a way for me to express literally anything I want or need  to express. This can take the form of rants, reviews, pretty much just how my day went, any creative thingy I engage in, etc. Basically just Substack but less trying to look like I'm a political know-it-all.  I'm tuff, trust me.
